So far the v972 has been a great product after the update to android 4.2.2. If you have a v972 you will be happy with the latest update and if you are thinking of getting one, don't hesitate. I sell tablets and currently own a Google Nexus 10, Ramos w30hd and a Onda v972 & v973. The v972 is as good as the Nexus for half the price and I suspect the v973 after update will be also.

Apres des debuts difficiles, il faut reconnaitre qu'apres toutes les mises a jour, c'est enfin le produit que l'on pensait acheter au moment de sa sortie.
Un bon produit avec un hardware solide vendu à un prix derisoire.
Onda est tres reactif, onda tablet très cordial,
les premiers utilisateurs ont un peu souffert des firmwares inadaptés du début,

Hi, I just received my onda yesterday. Once I have many problem like boot up hang in onda logo. I found the solution with upgrade the firmware. Now my onda is working very smooth. (Posted on 5/18/13)

After update to firmware 4.2.2, many Apps on Google Play can be installed and tablet is stable and very smooth. Great work Onda! My next tablet will definitely be another Onda!

Only sad thing is the battery...it doesn't last as long as a 8000 mAh battery should. I wonder if it is really rated at 8000 mAh.

since frimware 2.0 the problems are kind of fixed. But still not at the end of what this hardware might be able to do. Hope the next firmware (android 4.2.2 v2.3 stable?) will raise the next level. Youtube app still not working.... Only for experienced users! (Posted on 5/10/13)

a) Pantalla muy buena.
b) Hay un desarrollo de roms personalizada más estable que las del fabricante


CONS:

a) El nuevo firmware 4.2.2 oficial aún no funciona a la perfección. Espero que lo mejoren.

b) La duración de la batería es inferior a la indicada en la Web.


REQ:
La relación calidad/precio del producto es buena.

Yes I am having the same problems as Star. Crashes, slow page upload even though I have a excellent internet connection. I know I cannot compare to the ipad as the price difference is large but I did expect a product that would work better than this. I have not download Jellybean 4.2 yet as I waiting for Onda to give me the latest firmware for my model. I have to agree with Star I feel Onda should be doing more to have a firmware that works (Posted on 5/7/13)

Compre esa tablet hace un par de meses, con el primer firmware 1.2, y hoy con el firmware del 4.2.2 creo que se ha avanzado mucho, pero queda bastante por mejorar.

Los A31, creo que no se pueden overlock y se congela la tablet.

Creo que sera problema de Allwinner. Espero que Onda presione a Allwinner para liberar el codigo y que los desarrolladores y la comunidad puedan mejorar este producto.

Es un producto economico, y creo que puede ser mejor que los Rockchip, pero falta un punto mas en el firmware para que sea fluida, rapida y estable. (Posted on 5/6/13)

First I saw the reviews of Onda from one of the IT exhibits on December, 12th 2012. It was great to see it on pre-order after several weeks! Though it took quite long to deliver (due to out of stock and the Lunar Year) I recieved it on the 4th of April I'm still glad to buy the Onda972. The main reasons for buying it were to surf the net, read e-books, watch the video on travel and navigate on the e-maps. The resolution of the screen is amazing and allows to read and watch in smooth or sharp as necessary without troubles in fullHD and 4K. Wi-Fi is quick enough for the tablet. The battery is good for the reading, but drains quite fast in Wi-Fi. There were some uncertainty about upgrades but I hope to update to the stable 4.2. Android when it is issued on the Onda site to clear up those)
All in all I liked to choose the Onda V972. Let me wish all the best to the whole Onda team! (Posted on 5/4/13)
